I work on the computer a lot. When America is home with me, she will constantly harass me until I let her play on the keyboard. I’m not sure why she likes doing this so much, but she’ll sit there for quite a long time just banging away on the keyboard. A lot of times I’ll open Notepad, or EditPlus and let one of those editors capture all the “keystrokes” she’s doing. Sometimes she hits some weird key combinations and some heretofore unseen dialogs pop up on the screen. I sort of panic when this happens as I’m afraid she’s somehow altering settings on the computer (although I’m sure I could undo it).
Anyway, I uploaded this video to Youtube last night and thought I’d embed it here for you to see. It’s only 40 seconds long, but keep in mind that it’s 40 seconds of what usually turns out to be 10 minutes of banging away on the keyboard. I entitled it “Meck impersonating Dad” just for fun, but rest assured, her “impersonation” is not an accurate depiction of how I write code (although some people may say otherwise).
