Jessica has been having a pain in her side for the last few days, so she decided to go see the doctor about it on Monday. I told her that if they decide to do an ultrasound on her, to make sure I know so I can be there. I was already on my way over to the doctor’s office just in case, but along the way she called me and told me to hurry as the doctor was about to do the ultrasound. I made the trip in 12.5 minutes (refer to http://kevinadams.info/blog/?p=22), which is quite good if I say so myself.
As soon as I got in the ultrasound room, the doctor came in and started doing the ultrasound. Red has gotten quite big since the last time we saw him/her. We could see the face this time. The doctor took a couple of pictures, and in one it looks like Red is waving at us. Red was jumping and moving around in there, and that was pretty neat to see. I’ve felt flutters on Jessica’s lower abdomen (where the baby is) sometimes, and I’m pretty sure it’s Red in there jumping around. The pictures are pretty neat though. I’ll get them on here as soon as Jessica scans them at her mom’s house.
Anyway, everything is going well with the baby, but Jessica still has the pain. Hopefully we’ll find out what that is very soon.
What can I say about seeing my first grandchild (Rubyred) once again. When I went with Jessica because she was having a pain, I was hoping for an ultrasound, but didn’t know if they would do one. It was so amazing to me to see that beautiful little face, little lone Rubyred’s arms and legs just going everywhere, but when the doctor said look at the mouth open, it was well why not, Rubyred is just like Jessica, he/she will come out talking!!!!
