We saw our baby for the first time on Friday September 1st! It was so exciting! I was extremely anxious on the way to the office and kept praying that everything would be fine…and it was! Kevin, Mom, and I were amazed when we saw the ultrasound. Our little Red is just under a centimeter long and doing fine. The tech pinpointed the heart beating and then was able to color-enhance it! We were also able to hear the heart beating 122 beats per minute! We weren’t expecting that, but sure enough there it was loud and clear. I was 6 weeks 5 days by ultrasound and they estimated my due date as April 22, 2007 (just a few days short of my Nannie Wagoner’s birthday)! My next office visit is scheduled for next Tuesday (9-12-06).

I saw my first grandchild, for the first time, Friday (09-01-06). What an amazing day! I went with Jessica and Kevin for an ultrasound. Little did I know that I would be hearing Rubyred’s (Jessica can explain the name) heartbeat. I was trying to just focus in on the seeing the heartbeat and then across the bottom of the screen was the heartbeat chart and you could hear it!!!! Just think, at a little over six weeks and hearing the heartbeat. God is good, all the time god is good.
