My Beta-HCG was repeated on Wednesday (8-23-06) and came back at 9143. Hooray! After speaking with my MD, she decided that we should stop the aspirin that I am on daily and start the Heparin injections for my antiphospholipid syndrome. Initally they wanted me to wait until week 8 to start these, but with things going well she suggested that we go ahead with them. I’m thinking that it will be a piece of cake considering that this is what I do for a living, you know give shots…patient care. Wrong! Two injections daily is not fun, it stings and my stomach is going to be one huge bruise when all is said and done!
I have got it in my head now that as long as the result in the end is a healthy baby, I can do anything!
